Extra Details
Duration
For Level I: This is a drop in class. The duration of this course is 8-12 weeks, depending on the progress of each individual dog and handler.
For Level II: This is also a drop in class. It is a continuous course.
Skills Learned
By the end of the Level I course, dogs should have learned in motion sit and down from heel; sit/stay, down/stay, and stand at different distances; come from sit/down position; drop on recall; recall from distance; out of sight stay; finish from distance; and agility and novice exercises. Some commands will be practiced using voice and hand signals.
Level II course has no end. You can continue bringing your dog for as long as desired and/or required. In this course, handlers and dogs work on and off leash to reinforce all the commands previously learned. Dogs are challenged at all levels for them to display a solid personality, behavior, and training. They are exposed to different situations, environments, and exercises in order for handlers to achieve a well-mannered, confident, and well-behaved dog under all situations.
