Just a few miles east of Interstate 5 on nine scenic acres in beautiful Carmel Valley, Markim Pet Resort is the premiere pet care facility in Southern California.
Our goal is to provide your pet with the finest boarding facilities, grooming services and professional training available, and you with the peace of mind knowing that your dog or cat is receiving the best of care in a clean, safe, comfortable environment.
After spending several years as Markim team members, professional trainer Salem Flores and his wife Luz acquired the business in 2009. Salem and Luz continue to be active in the day to day operations, he supervising boarding and training, she overseeing Markim's full range of grooming services.
At Markim, your pet's physical fitness is important to us. Dogs are exercised daily by our staff in one of several outdoor play areas, while cats enjoy supervised play time in a Kitty Lounge specially equipped with toys and climbing structures.
Your pet's health is also important to us - our grounds are inspected and cleaned hourly to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
In addition to boarding and on-site or in-home training sessions, we offer a wide variety of activities for your pet, including group and private play sessions and swimming in our heated pool.
